As a member of the HR team, you will have the opportunity to deliver corporate services directly to staff and support them through a myriad of employment queries.
Your primary responsibility will be to provide guidance on the policies and procedures that support the delivery of our services throughout our employees’ working lives. Our HR staff work in generalist roles.
So you will be able to experience of all areas of HR, including recruitment, managing employee relations issues, managing capability and performance, managing absence, promoting wellbeing, employee administration and record management.
You will also work with our Trade Unions in helping resolve workplace issues for staff as they arise.
You will be an important part of the maintenance of a positive workplace culture, and be active in promoting good working relationships between staff.
It is a great career path to follow as you ensure the cogs of probation run smoothly so frontline and corporate staff all work towards the goal of public safety.
