Information for People under Supervision

Every year we help people throughout NI change their lives and contribute to safer communities. At 30 June 2016 4,305 people were under probation supervision, of which 3,367 were in the community and 938 were in prisons.

This part of the website is for people who have been sentenced to probation supervision.  You can find out about the type of sentence you have been ordered to complete. You can also find out about PBNI Programmes.

This section is also aimed at the friends and family of people under supervision to give them information which will assist them in helping those subject to probation supervision complete their court order.

PBNI have developed and launched a new App ‘Changing Lives’ for people under probation supervision. Create a journal to record how you are feeling on a day-to-day basis, and get useful information, advice and contacts to help with life on probation. The app can be downloaded on the Google Play and App stores for Android and Apple devices. Below is a short video introducing the App.
