The Probation Board seeks to work closely with statutory, community and voluntary organisations in order to achieve its purpose to protect the public by working with the Courts, other Agencies and Partners to reduce re-offending and integrate offenders successfully back into the Community.
Examples of partnership projects include IMPACT (Inclusive Model of Partnership Against Car Crime), the Course for Drink Drive Offenders (CDDO) and Men Overcoming Domestic Violence (MODV).
PBNI is unique in that up to 7% of its annual budget is allocated towards community development.
