Victim Information Scheme

Welcome to the Probation Board for Northern Ireland (PBNI) Victims Unit webpage.
This webpage has been designed to inform you about the PBNI Victim Information Scheme.
Victim issues are central to all PBNI's work with offenders - in pre-sentence reports, individual offender supervision plans, groupwork programmes and in all multi-agency risk management work.
PBNI welcome the opportunity to inform victims about how we work, through the Victim Information Scheme, which commenced on 25 October 2005.
This scheme provides information to victims about what it means when someone is sentenced to an Order which requires supervision by the Probation Board.
